The following are a few free or low-cost legal service providers in the Province of British Columbia.
- Access Pro Bono: a not-for-profit organization which provides legal services for those who are unable to afford them. Access Pro Bono provides legal advice and representation for a variety of legal disputes to low-income earners (see the website for exact qualification criteria).
- Law Students Legal Advice Program: provides low-income individuals a free sit-down meeting with a law student who will discuss your issue (see the website for exact qualification criteria). The law student also has access to volunteering lawyers who will help provide appropriate advice. There are a number of clinics throughout the Lower Mainland which you can attend for guidance.
